UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK (UST) MANAGEMENT

Tank Locating Scan

Renova technicians use the most modern technology, equipment and processes to accurately locate potentially hazardous USTs on a property. A written analysis based on test results, field observations and manual investigation provides clients with a clear understanding of the tank’s location and contents.

UST Investigations

If for any reason a tank may have leaked, our experts collect soil samples to confirm or deny if a discharge occurred. We work with an independent, state-certified laboratory to analyze soil samples, then submit a description of our findings, interpreting the results and proposing a plan of action.

UST Closure

A properly closed tank will save you time and money. Renova provides tank closure, either through removal or abandonment-in-place (cleaning and filling with an inert material). First, a site inspection is performed and a proposal is submitted at no cost to our clients. Renova’s comprehensive proposals include all aspects of tank closure, including municipal permitting fees.

Above Ground Tank (AST) Installations

Once a UST has been removed, many clients still want oil as a heating source and prefer to avoid the costs of switching to natural gas. Renova can coordinate AST installation and UST removal within one to two days.
